The Job Responsibilities
Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing –Medical Business based in Telford, PA.
The SVP leads the US Medical Sales & Marketing organization with full responsibility for strategy, transformation, and commercial performance. This executive role drives short- and mid-term objectives while shaping long-term strategy to achieve sustainable profitable growth, market share, and organizational agility in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. The position holds full P&L accountability and is tasked with building a culture of innovation, customer centricity, and clinical insight.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy, Transformation & P&L Leadership
- Define and execute a strategic roadmap aligned with corporate objectives and U.S. market dynamics.
- Set ambitions for growth, margin expansion, and market share.
- Own P&L performance (net sales, contribution margin, operating expenses, forecast accuracy, working capital) and ensure disciplined execution.
- Lead cultural and structural transformation to create an agile, data-driven, clinically informed organization.
2. Connected Technologies & Integrated System Solutions
- Develop and scale end-to-end system solutions combining products, services, clinical applications, and software for acute care environments (ICU, OR, ED, NICU).
- Drive interoperability, workflow integration, analytics, cybersecurity, and digital service models.
- Translate clinical needs into outcome-based solution roadmaps that improve efficiency, outcomes, and total cost of ownership.
- Collaborate with Global Marketing, R&D, and Regulatory to embed North American requirements into portfolio strategy and compliance pathways.
3. Go-to-Market (GTM), Channels & Commercial Excellence
- Redesign GTM models (enterprise sales, clinical selling, digital service, post-acute programs) to accelerate growth and enhance customer experience.
- Govern channel strategy, including partner selection, enablement, and performance management.
- Institutionalize sales excellence through opportunity management, funnel quality, pricing discipline, and deal governance for complex enterprise agreements.
4. Market Access, Stakeholder Influence & Partnerships
- Serve as the senior commercial voice with health systems, IDNs, GPOs, payers, academic centers, and clinical KOLs.
- Cultivate executive-level relationships to unlock strategic partnerships and integrated delivery models.
- Represent the company at industry forums and shape market narratives around connected care, safety, and measurable outcomes.
5. Customer Value & Outcomes
- Close collaboration with Service to ensure lifecycle value through service excellence, uptime, utilization, cybersecurity posture, and clinical training.
- Establish KPIs for marketing and commercial performance, including demand generation, pipeline conversion, and solution adoption.
6. Governance, Compliance & Risk
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Ensure adherence to U.S. regulatory and corporate requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations.
7. Leadership, Talent & Culture
- Build and develop a high-performing leadership bench; hire and retain critical talent.
- Implement succession planning for pivotal roles.
- Foster trust, collaboration, and empowerment aligned with company values.
- Champion a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer centricity.
Your Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree
- 12–15+ years of progressive leadership in healthcare technology/medtech with U.S. market experience.
- Proven P&L ownership and success in driving growth and transformation at scale.
- Expertise in connected technologies, integrated solutions, and digital service models.
- Strong stakeholder management and experience negotiating complex enterprise agreements.
- Skilled in organizational change and talent development.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 20-40%.
- Acute care experience (ICU/OR/ED/NICU), familiarity with clinical workflows preferred
