The Job Responsibilities
We are hiring a Validation Engineer I to work in our Andover, MA facility.
The Validation Engineer I, under close direction, produces requirements mapping, test strategies, test procedures, test scripts, test results and release documentation for the verification and validation of patient monitoring products.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate as an integral part of a SW Agile team representing the Verification group, responsible for developing system level test plans as they relate to products being developed.
- Produce executed/documented verification test reports through manual or automated means, during the development phase and final verification phase.
- Document deviation reports in our deviation tracking database for observed issues and provide early troubleshooting to document initial diagnostics for the development team.
- Collaborate with project team leads to provide verification estimates for product enhancements being developed.
- Produce product traceability matrixes from product requirements mapping to verification protocols along with product risk mitigations to verification protocols.
- Participate in product requirement reviews in order to assess testability and test coverage.
- Participate in regression assessments based on changing components. (SW/FW/HW)
- Participate in product risk mitigation reviews, evaluating patient safety and means of control.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.

Your Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering/Biomedical/CS or equivalent degree
- 1 to 3 years in product development experience or product test preferred.
Compensation:
The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $74,800 - $85,500. We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. This position is eligible for the following additional compensation: annual bonus.
