The Job Responsibilities
We are hiring a Global Business Management Director in our Andover, MA location.
The Global Business Management Director is responsible for developing portfolio and marketing strategies and driving implementation in all countries to support the global, regional and local business plans.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide support and input for Business Unit global strategy, product development, portfolio management and strategic business decisions.
- Drive implementation of global strategy on all levels to support the business plan of the region/country.
- Develop and drive go to market strategies for all countries. Drive exploitation of full potential within the market segment in cooperation with regional/local Sales and Marketing.
- Actively support regional/local Sales, Marketing & Service to drive Net Sales and Global Gross Profit.
- Drive business and competitive intelligence, identify market trends and new business opportunities for future growth.
- Monitor and analyze portfolio performance and define measures to ensure the portfolio performs according to plan.
- Drive excellence in marketing planning and execution by leading the development of sales tools, pricing/positioning, best practice sharing and skills advancement activities amongst global, regional and local colleagues.
- Represent Business Unit internally and externally; maintain relationships with key customers in each region.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
Your Qualifications
- BS degree in Marketing, Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing of capital equipment (preferably Patient Monitoring)
- 5+ years of experience working in an international role
- 5+ years of experience in a strategic marketing position with at least 3 years’ experience managing teams
- Experience in complex products portfolio management; hospital capital equipment
- IT certifications and experience is advantageous as well as understanding of CRM, funnels and forecasting systems.
- Proven track record of defining, developing and deploying Portfolio Management Processes in a diverse, and complex product portfolio
- Must possess industry knowledge including relevant competitors
- Must have experience with relevant quality and regulatory requirements for the medical device industry
Compensation: The targeted pay range for this position is typically between $185,700 - $222,800. We note that the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. This position is eligible for the following additional compensation: annual bonus.
